Quite frankly, if I were to bring a sick dog back to me, it would just cost the resources that are earmarked foor the dogs that will make our breeding better. It is not very good for the dog either. The only reason I can think of for doing it would be to make it harder for people to get a replacement because everybody knows that you don´t just give up your dog. I know that we would never give up a dog we had bonded to, so we would not demand it of others either.

I know this thread is old but I want to chime in...I think that what has bothered me the most is the lack of communication when interviewing certain breeders. I hate having to make decisions and plans and feel like I have to beg for info. I want to know what is going on...do what you say you are going to do. Plain and simple. Keep me informed and don't make me drag information from you. This has happened with several breeders. If I can't get through the interview process, I sure can bet I won't get anywhere if somethinggoes wrong.
