While PZD is no longer trustworthy, I can say having seen Beaste in person myself, he remains one of the most impressive dogs I have ever met, both temperamentally and physically and a close examination of him shows him to the be offspring identified on his pedigree.  The only thing disapointing about Beaste is that he is not mine!

Do you even know that PZD bought puppies from the news paper an at pet shops then he registered them under his name as litters from his dogs and sold them as such? I would not trust any PZD dog to be true to the parents.

Yes, It was a cut and paste from Johan and the old PZD site.

I suppose it could have been more clearly written. It did not say that Beeste was the " SA National Champion runner up" it read "Beeste was the runner up in the 2009 National Championships". That he was. The key words "in" and "Championships" not Champion make it a factual statement but surely a bit missleading as he was runnerup only for his age class in the National Championships. Sometimes it is not what you say but what you do not. I removed the statement from his discription to avoid confusion. When the sun sets and the day ends Beeste is one of the very good ones and he really doesn't care what we have to say about it.:)

The view from here,

hi - you can check 2009 and 2010 results on www.sabt.co.za

Thank you for clarification. I trusted the source and I think TopDog copied that iformation from old PZD site.

But 2nd in class is not bad at all.

hi - not saying beeste is not a legend, merely asking where he got his title from. I checked the results of the Nationals of 2009 in SA as per the sabt website and he was only 2nd in his class. He was not 2nd in the junior champs. the juniorchamp was Meester Gunsmoke and the reserve junior champ was Middelpos Boel. The senior champ was Meester Koevoet and reserve senior champ was cabaret Zulu. The National Grand Champ was Meester Gunsmoke and the reserve grand Champ was meester Koevoet. Again these are the results on the SABT website and my question stems from this - where was he National Champion runner up?

Beeste is already a legend in his own way (current Gauteng Grand Champion and the 2009 runner up in the National Championships)! Son of the famous Piet Zyn Drift Habana 91.4% and Nostras Lisa 90% brother of the famous Piet Zyn Drift Ulli 92.3%, and grandson of Nostras Zulu 92.6% and Nostras Lisha 92.5%! Beeste also has many generations of 0/0 hips and elbows behind him.
