Thanks John, we are moving to country next month. We have a 6 months baby boy so not sure whether we could adopt an adult Boerboel. So I am looking forward to bring in a Boerboel pup for our family. It is going to be a lot of learning and work for me in the farm, since I had never lived in a farm. I had raised dogs before but they weren't this big or this unique in terms of character/temperament/personality. So I am very particular to do justice. So I will be needing lot of inputs/knowledge if we get a Boerboel pup.
I welcome all! I'm from Ukraine. My Boerboel - male -10.07.2012 year born .LEGENDA AFRIKI NADZHIB (Parents: Father VRYSTAAT MADIBA (S.A.) x mother BONI'MEY(RUS)). Pedigree LEGENDA AFRIKI NADZHIB http://www.dogsfiles.com/index.php?ind=dogsbase&breed=293&o....
1 and 2 September in Dnipropetrovsk (Ukraine) was an International Dog Show. Our results and some photos- on the photo - the handler Maya and Nadzhib
Welcome!
He is very cute! That is quite large for a 10 month old I have to say. Be careful about the amount of calories you are feeding as growing too fast can cause problems with joints.
Enjoy the site!

Hi,
So thrilled to find this site. My name is Ivy and I'm from Rockland County, NY. I'm here for 2 reasons. About 2 weeks ago I pulled an emaciated red fawn Boerboel pup from the Brooklyn ACC. She was due to be put down with kennel cough. Their vet's estimated her to be about 12-13 months, but my vet feels she's a bit younger since her canines and back molars hadn't completed come in. She was shy and fearful at first but within 48 hours this confident, loving and goofy pup emerged. She is blowing me away with her intelligence and is just so quick to learn. At this point the Boerboel temperament is coming out and she is becoming protective of her foster family in a reasonable way. I am working her twice daily with basic obedience and taking her out for socializing and she is doing great and I haven't picked up on any issues at all. I have her scheduled to be spayed on Monday and then she will be ready for her new home.
All of a sudden I started to wonder if this awesome pup may be someone's beloved Boerboel and I wanted to reach out to the Boerboel community. If you know of anyone missing a red fawn between the age of 9-13 months please let me know. I worked for the Humane Society for several years and I know that breeds such as this are often stolen and can wind up across the country in undesirable situations. I'm urging everyone to get their dogs micro-chipped and if you are a breeder microchip your pups before they leave and keep yourself listed as the contact if the dog is ever found.
If Merna is not reunited with her original owners I will be looking for a special home for her and I would appreciate your assistance in finding the right match for this awesome pup. I will post some pics here, but that is her on my profile pic.
Thanks so much for any assistance and guidance you can give me.
Ivy
Hello everyone! My name is Cassie and I am JonP's girlfriend. I usually follow the site and get all my boerboel community updates through Jon, but I figured with the new pup on the way I should bite the bullet and join for myself. I am in love with the breed and am learning so much through research, but more importantly experience with Kierra and meeting and speaking with other boerboel owners and breeders. I look forward to being more involved with the site!
I'm happy you decided to join! Love you!
