Our 12 week old Boerboel wants to drink water - she has had a urinary infection that we have been treating.. but this is crazy... she searches for mud puddles, rain, condensation... drinks until she is miserable and burping then lays around and pees... potty training is near impossible as she is more interested in water than life... ANY IDEAS? See More

Hi Jon,
Thank you for the welcome, I do not own a Boerboel as yet although the puppy that I have reserved has been born, they are still too young to leave their mother. This is the most bizarre coincident, I saw the photo of the puppy that you reserved from Klein Sandfontein and realised that he is in fact the litter mate to the pup that I have reserved! I have reserved one of the brown females born to Kisska and Mandla. How incredible is that! However, although I have reserved a pup from this litter there is I believe a long waiting list, I just hope and pray that I am one of the lucky owners to be.
Good luck with your pup, I will keenly check up on this website for more updates.

Hi and thank you for the warm welcome. My wonderful breeder told me that the reason Zar is not holding his ears up is due to teething. I taped them as she recommended and they have been taped for several weeks. When I removed the tape the other day he still wouldnt hold them up. I was just wondering if its supposed to take this long?
I've heard good things about Stitsvuur, Do all training myself, used Phx dog academy for basic, kept her 3 weeks
on site. She's doing advanced stuff now, and protection in future
We live in central Phoenix, no dog parks, and Esta will be 6 mos.tomorrow.
Mother is Ruby, and Dad is Kuhn. Our 1st Boerboel, we have 2 Dobe's also.

Just know one other. He's a friend and ordered a brindle pup from Skyview Farms where I got my Esta. Just a few pic's when she was 10 weeks old (attached ) nice to hear from another local heat suffer :)
