Welcome Kevin So sorry you have such a long wait. But if quarantined go see them as much as possilbe so they know you. At 6 months without human interaction they may become very independent being alone. Which means your bonding will be harder and longer. Is your countries policy quarantine in country or at breeders till 6 months and Rabies cert? Either way goodluck to you!! Peace Lee

Hi Lee, They will be in quarantine in South Africa for 6mths before traveling to Aus. The good thing is that when I visited Lukas in Oct we went and visited the quarantine facility in Pretoria and after the visit it really put both our minds at ease. They have a wonderful facility which is not overly big so they really spend quality time socializing the dogs and playing with them.

My girl is from Skyview also.  She will be a year at the end on December!

My wife and I are driving to Ohio to pick him up on October 1st. Looking forward to meeting him and his parents. The breeders Brenda and Chuck Spencer from Skyview Kennels have been nothing but kind to me. It's going to be a five and a half hour drive, but it's all worth it.

my name is Ernie  I  live in Toronto Canada a friend of mine is a small breeder here in southern Ontario,his pair of boerboels just had a litter of 12 puppies on November 16.  you can check it out on zuriboerboels.com,just retired at the end of last year, thinking of having a fourlegged  friend join me and my wife for walks I love boerboels cannot convince my wife yet .Keep you posted, love your site, keep up the good work.

Hello, My name is Kate and I have a female Presa Canario. Her name is Naya and she is truly the heart of our family. My children also have a female Boerboel pup under a year old at their dads. She has attended protective traning classes not that long ago. I can't say I know too much on the topic, So thats why I'm here. As a their mom I feel it's vital to educate my children for the pups best interest as well as ours . Any information or advice would be appreciated dearly.

That's fabulous!! I am afraid Diesel would not enjoy being a beach Boerboel!! He does not like the heat at all and often needs to be forced outside in the summer to pee :)

 

He is a little spoiled with the A/C in the house for sure!!
