Welcome! From what I know Boerboels are rare in general.. And to tell the truth I think it's better this way, I think the breed is purer. Have fun with yr puppy! And post some pics!! :)

Hello all, My name is Tammy and my family and I are currently fostering to adopt a 2 year old Boerboel, named Amber.  She has only been with us for over a week but we have already fallen in love.  She is great addition to our family.  This is our first Boerboel and so far we are so impressed with this breed.  We were happy to find this site and have been taking the time to go through this site has to offer.

Hi, I'm Becky. I have been planning a english mastiff for a long time, until I met a specific Boreboel. Now I would love a dog just like him. I currently have a little border husky, who is a great dog and loves other dogs. He has a thing for large breeds like danes, mastiffs and the likes. I have decided while i want a large breed to feel safe walking, I also want my current dog to have a buddy to live with. I have owned large breeds in the past and love them big. :-) If all works out I will be getting a Boreboel puppy next year.

You won't be disappointed Becky.  I am a new Boerboel owner and I am very happy with my choice of this breed.  Good luck BB hunting.  I should have a litter next summer, so keep me in mind.  There are a lot of other BB owners here as well that can help you out!
