Hi my name is craig , i dont own a boerboel yet , i have wanted a boerboel for a long time now, been doing my homework i suppose you can say, i am really looking forward to getting to know you all and owning my first boerboel and beginning my journey with this amazing dog.

I'm going to try posting some recent photos of Red here.  Sorry, they are badly out of focus.  My camera is acting up but I have a new one on the way.

 

He is on a raw diet and gets mostly venison during deer season.  He will bury deer bones and other parts around the property.  One of his caches was violated by vultures once and since then he does not tolerate any large bird flying overhead.  The first photos show him chasing vultures flying overhead, the last shows him taking out his frustrations on a soccer ball.

 

Again, apologies for the fuzzy photos.

Hello.  I was informed about this site by Lee May.  I own a BB named Red.  He's 16 months old, born on Spitsvuur farm from a one-time pairing of Nostras Beauton and Spitsvuur Ossewa.  Both were sold by Spitsvuur after producing the one litter.  Red is my second BB.  My first passed away in May 2009 at age 10.

Hi, My name is Jazzi, I live in Eastern North Carolina and have a 2 month old male puppy. He's very cute and very much a pain, lol. I also have a crazy husband and 3yr old daughter, and 3 bearded dragons.

Hi my name is Phyllis we live in New Jersey-I have a 9 month old Boerbel (pumpkin)bought from Terry Allen in Virginia.

We have a 13 year old black lab also.  This is not my first dog, but she is my first puppy.  The difference in the feeling is amazing.  I took off the first week she was home to bond to her - she is now my shadow.  We are looking forward to breeding her or getting another Boerbel puppy some day in the near future.

North Jersey-

I had a trainer in the house 2 days after we got her.

Did basic and advanced courses with her.  She is a little stubborn, but she is finally getting it.  Had a hard time walking her - so after trying everything finally bought the smart leash-now she is a little angel

Marco suggested we find a few posts to introduce ourselves.  We are Suzanne and Paul Dijak-Robinson from Indianapolis, Indiana, and we own My Pet Carnivore (www.mypetcarnivore.com), a raw pet food company, and we deliver throughout the Midwest as well as ship to all 48 continental states.  One of our customers, Jim Loukoutus, suggested we join this group to reach out to anyone who might be interested in feeding their Boerboel a raw diet.  We have started a group here to provide a place to ask questions and get more information.  Marco has been very encouraging to us, and if there is ever anything we can do for you, please do not hesitate to let us know.
