Well we handle pups from day one, socialise with visitors and our other dogs, Take them out for car rides, vet checks, ect... Just the usual really... We give owners full after care, I'm a trained behaviourist so that helps, I only sell to people I feel are qualified to own a BB and I use parents with sound natures... Thats all anyone can do IMO.

We are Krystle Mackintosh and Alex Wright and have 3 Boerboel bitches, Sahara who is almost 18 months old, and Lunar and Mona who are just 10 months old but a week apart.  We live in Kenley, Surrey and dedicate our lives to our girls who are the perfect companions and make our lives complete.  We are strong believers in training and socialising socialising socialising our pack!

Hi, my name is Paul and I live in Kentucky with my wife, 1 year old daughter, and two sons (3 and 5) ...and our 10 month old male Boerboel pup. We are obsessed with him and treat him like another family member. His patience with the kids has really gotten remarkable once he got out of the boisterous young puppy stage. He absolutely cant stand it if he thinks you are mad at him and he is a master of melting your heart. I feel guilty when i have to put a leash on him because i know he would never leave our side or wander ....even as a 8 week old puppy he had a fixed radius in his head and if one of his family members got too far from him he would try to position himself right in the middle to make up the distance. He trains easy despite his stubborness and is very intuitive to our feelings. Watchful of strangers but seems to know when somebody is friendly or we have passed off on them....have yet to be in a situation that warrants his interdiction but I am sure as an adult he will prove to be a very protective guardian for the family. No wonder South Africans are so proud of their breeds....between Boerboels and Rhodesian Ridgebacks I would say they got the Germans and the English beat. Truly remarkable breed....perhaps the best all round working/guard dog in the world.

I lived in Darmstadt for about 3 years, we liked Germany, but as i understood it, having a large potentially aggressive breed was not legal in the city...or maybe we didn't understand the laws. Our German was not very good, we should have learned the language better.
Anyway, our Tony is very similar to your dog in terms of coloration. I like the red fawn but something about a striped brindle is unique and exotic almost.

wollen uns mal eben kurz vorstellen.Wir kommen aus Düren/Vettweiß und haben seit dem Juni 2009 unseren Boerboelrüden Maklikreg Pacco (08.05.2009) aus Belgien. Die Eltern sind Congo-masai Mara und Maklikreg Berre.Wir besuchen seit dem Welpenalter die Hundeschule und Pacco macht sich dort seher gut,ist mit jedem verträglich.Haben am 1. Mai 2010 erfolgreich den Wesenstest bestanden (1.BCD e.V.).In Wessel bei der BBI Appraisal und in Holland bei der Boerboel Show mit gemacht.Da wir uns immer gerne mit anderen Boerboelverrückten austauschen, sind wir hier im Forum sicher gut aufgehoben.
