Hello,I'm a newbie here. My name is Gary I'm 61yrs old and live in Seattle Washington. I have been a dog owner all my life.
I am waiting for my 8 week old female BB from Proffer kennel. She should be here 3/2/2013. She will be joining my family of
me, Blue( my 5yr.old fixed blue nose pit ) and my son and mother.
Blue has been socialized with other dogs,children and older folks .
I would be interested in meeting other BB owners from Seattle as well as making new friends world wide.

Hi Gary, I'm Margot.  I have a 2 1/2 year old female from Randy Proffer that I purchased after going to see his dogs and kennels in MO.  He was very professional and still, years later, answers any question I have!  Who are your girl's parents?  Just curious if my girl may have a sister in Seattle :)  Can't wait to see pictures!!

Hi Margot the puppy's mother is Sassy and the father is Rogue. I'm super excited and a bit nervous about the introduction to
Blue my Pit /  but my family Vet has been giving good advice and Blue is very dog friendly.

Hi Gary and welcome! Pit bulls are great companions to for BB's. I have a pit bull but she is 15 1/2 now so we don't allow them to play anymore but they can take the abusive play from BB's because they are strong and tough. If they are opposite sex you should no issues. When I bring new family members home for the first time I just watch the body language and don't act nervous. They will figure it out. I usually introduce them outside. If you are worried put a leash on Blue. But keep the leash loose so he doesn't feel your trepidation. Good luck!

Ok, Hello Marco & everybody let me introduce myself briefly my name is Attila but many call me Ati. I'm not so lucky to have Boer Boel yet but I have known this breed since 2004. I like to take care of animals it is my hobby, I live in Budapest suburb part of the city. I'm a pigeon fancier as well(show and race pigeons) but very much like all kind of animals including horses and of cours dogs. I got to know BB in 2004 and ever since BB is my favourit dog breed. My friend's father used to have an old type of boxer brindle colour male, it was very much different than the today's breed, much stronger & bigger with very nice character. Boer Boels remind me of this old type of boxer dog. I always like big dogs but not the oversize fat animals. Breeding animals is a great hobby, people can meet & talk lot of nice persons all over the world. Ati

Howdy,

My name is Brett and I am set to receive my first boerboel pup in 2 weeks time. We don't have a name picked for him yet. He will be a son of Jordan from Great Lakes boerboels. I am very appreciative of the Boerboel Community which has been helpful so far and it is great to see such a well developed website/forum which could be a very useful tool for years to come. I am very excited for the opportunity to have this breed part of my life and can't wait to get started.

Hallo 2 u all, my name is Jim and i live with my 2 sons & dog in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) 

I owned a BB for almost 10 years (BlackMask Sipho r.i.p. 15-06-'02 / 15-03-'12)

He was an great friend for all of us and we miss him a lot.

I'm now looking for a new male (black) BB, and friend of my female powermix dog.

Looking now for a black 1 by 'Spitsvuur' for the end of 2013, or spring 2014, so the waitinglist is no problem.
