Top Boerboel's Great South Africa Boerboel Tour

Several of us here are planning to take a trip to South Africa to visit breeders, and friends that  we have made on this site.  Please post here if you are interested in joining or hosting a group of us to stay while we are there.  We also need to hear from breeders that will welcome us to come visit, and view their boerboels for the day or maybe just a couple of hours.  As of now it will be sometime next year 2013, still working out the details.  This post will be here for the discussion of the trip, to make plans, and so on.  More information to come!

 

Those interested in hosting, or allowing us to come by to view your boerboels please list a general location so we can start to map out our event.  Thank you!

I started an event on Facebook but for some reason it was created with the wrong date.  You can find the event, and discussion here.  I sent out over a thousand invites letting people know about it.  I may try and setup a new event soon with correct date.

I would love to go on this trip, but can not afford the time or money this year. This is an opportunity of a lifetime for serious breeders. To see many of the top kennels and dogs from S.A., as well as pick the brains of the so many Boerboel legends will be unforgetable. I can't wait to see the photos and hear the details.

If this will be in October/November next year, my OH and me are interested in going, but we cannot guarantee anything just yet due to economy. But put us on the list, and we will keep it in mind :) . We have to fly out from London though.

You can add my name to the host list as well as the list of who would like to receive you. As I said before, we could accomodate quite a few and find reasonable accomodation close by for the rest.

Hi all, This is a great idea. EBBASA have been trying to something like this off the ground for a while. I spoke to a couple of breeders and you can add Linjo, Mighty, Afrika and Meerlust to the list of hosts. How about putting this on the European and Russian Boards as well? We could make it a true "United Nations of the Boerboel Tour"
