Top Boerboel Calendar

I have been thinking lately it would be really nice to have a Top Boerboel Calendar made for 2011.  The calendar would consist of boerboels from members here.  Of course I would get permission fisrt before using anyones photos.  My thought is to have members submit a few photos and then  pick 2 months that they would like to see them displayed on.  You would submit them here to this post with permission to use.  I would love to hear everyones thoughts on this please.  If all goes well we could continue to have one each year.  You may if you choose start submitting them now :)

Great Idea Marco, I will work on some action shots, and I claim the month of May Ok. Let me know if that works for you. Also they should be on the large calender size i would think, mabe 14x 18 in. to really show off our beautiful dogs. Mabe even two pics per month one still one action. Peace Lee

As far as submitting photos you can submit them here by replying and click on add image. If you would like you can email them to [e-mail]. Please submit 3 photos, first and second choice of the month you would like to have.

I still would really like to do this. In order to do so theres needs to be a deadline on posting here. If we can get enough people involved the deadline should be by the end of November. This will give me time to get things together. Please let me know your thoughts.

Would be great if we could join you in this. Russian boerboel community does calendars every year :) But I guess noone from them got it in english :) I guess any fall month would suit the picture. Here are few of them:

Hi Marco,
My apologies for replying on this topic after it has been going for a while but I was only made aware of this chatgroup today.
EBBASA started collecting pictures of Boerboels from all over the world a while ago. I think we received nearly 400 submissions from Boerboel owners across the world of which 13 were selected for a 2011 Calender. The selected pictures are really stunning! We are in the process of determining quantities and that would determine the price. EBBASA plans to make this a high quality edition as 2011 is also our 10th anniversary.
I think it is a good idea to issue a calender but I think one very good Boerboel calender per year will be adequate. Lets work together for 2012 and really produce something spectacular on an annual basis.

Thanks for the reply Johan Swart and great to know the EBBASA is doing one each year. No one can have enough calendars and especially of boerboels. Now I plan to have two one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. As you know you can only have so many boerboels on your calendar and by doing one here allows our members here a better chance. I plan on allowing everyone on that submits till its not possible anymore. Please keep us updated and let us know where and what we need to do to submit for the following year. As for our members here if this is going to happen for 2011, I need you all to submit photos please before it gets to late. As of right now we do not have enough to do so. Keep me posted on what you all would like to do.
