Yes, especially with kittens. Any mom LOL; cattle here have been known to kill dogs when the owners walk to close to a mama.  My sis has a female herd leader, a deer, who is bonded with her [the third consecutive one], and even this deer can be defensive.  She stands on the steps challenging my dog till he gives up and walks by her. It is funny. I have a one-eyed housecat who stood determinedly just out of range of this current diog for long hours, when he was first wanting to kill them.  Till he got over it.  The other cat is a lover, she rubs around his face now .  She was the first to make careful inroads with him & she never gave up till he came around.

It is first snow for the pup and for the foal. It took a bit of time for the pup to understand that you can actually walk and play on this cold, wet substance, while the foal got very excited and runned around like crazy :)

obsessive Water drinking

Our 12 week old Boerboel wants to drink water - she has had a urinary infection that we have been treating.. but this is crazy... she searches for mud puddles, rain, condensation... drinks until she is miserable and burping then lays around and pees... potty training is near impossible as she is more interested in water than life... ANY IDEAS? See More
