Home Of The Rare Breed.
Before someone decides to start a group here for kibble or dehydrated food, I thought I would post a discussion to see what type of interest it generates. I also have some questions of my own that I hope someone can help me out with.

Hi Regina,
I think you are on the right track with Orijen and Acana--I honestly don't feel there is a better kibble. I fed both before I went to raw and like you, researched the companies extensively. They were the only pet food company I felt I could have any kind of faith in. I believe they really are a unique pet manufacturer and I don't think any other can say that they use fresh local ingredients that are never frozen. Both my dogs did very well on their food. If you haven't already found it, Truthaboutpetfood.com is a great website to learn about pet food manufacturers.
My cats get raw but still get Orijen or Acana kibble too. Wag.com has great prices and 15% off your first order and free 2 day shipping on orders over $49. It was cheaper for me to get it there then my local store.
Good luck with the puppy!

After longs nights of research on several companies, we have narrowed it down to Orijen or Acana, and would like to hear both the good and the bad in way of testomonies and observations to this brand from those who have used it. Or ideas from anyone who feels there is an even better one out there that we may have missed.
We look forward to hearing from you,
Gary and Regina Humphrey
