Home Of The Rare Breed.
I was going to make a post about this yesterday when creating the Call of the Wild blog, a product Midhad recommended. Then I also noticed Jim posted about a supplement Prevention Plus as well today. To help keep things all together, I made this dog supplements post. I would like to hear from other members here, your thoughts on dog supplements. Do you use any, if so what do you use? Are you against it, if so why do you feel this way? Have you thought about it, but not sure what to get? I will list below the two that have already been mentioned here, and one that I recently have been looking into. Please feel free to comment on these products or any other you may know of.

Honestly Marco... you don't need any supplements if you are feeding a correctly balanced raw diet.. nothing that you can buy on the market today is giong to be of any good as it is all chemically made and as such can do more harm than good when the body cannot absorb it naturally.
We just held a Raw Food Seminar on the weekend in which even myself ( after feeding raw for years now ) have learned more as to how and what and proportions of calcium to phosphorus ratio...
Nothing else is needed other than raw meat, bones and correct amounts of fat.
Hello Marcella, thanks for your reply. I saw that event posted on facebook, I hope it all went well. Would love to have attended but there was no getting over there. The problem is a lot of people dont feed a well balanced diet. There are so many that are on kibble, and will never make the switch. I am somewhere in the middle about dog supplements. I think with anything its all about balance. I have seen joint supplements work wonders on dogs who where in need of help due to lack of movement, and pain. Would you recommend any vitamins at all? Once again thanks for your reply, I agree a well balanced diet is the key. Anyone else have anything to add?
