Recovery process for spay and gastropexy

Wondering if anyone has suggestions for helping our BB recover safely from a spay combined with gastropexy?  She is a year old and will have surgery on 1/14/11.  Nervous mommy will take any tips or recommendations.

Hey Marco.....Mabel is doing great.  We are having a hell of a time keeping her inactive.  It's back breaking work....lol.  Thank you for checking in...it is so appreciated!

Mabel had her spay combined with gastropexy today.....she did great and is relaxing at home.  Thanks for all your support....I was soooo worried.  Now we have the challenging task of limiting her activity for 14 days...should be interesting.

Hi Chantell....thanks for checking in.  Her vet got sick and we had to reschedule the surgery.....aaaahhhh...lol.  She's rescheduled for the 28th.  Will let you know then and so appreciate you following up!

YES!   that can occupy her for a good long time!  Thanks for the support!

That stinks! I'm sure she will do fine! Maybe a big knucklebone to gnaw on while on rest?

Thanks for your comment Kate....much appreciated.  Mabel was supposed to have her surgery yesterday but our vet got sick so we have to reschedule.  Needless to say....I'm not sure I needed more time to worry about it...LOL!
