Hi to you all. My elder puppy a giant 7month Central Asian Shepherd, bites 4month Hector around his neck end on ears. Sometimes his hurting him too. O.K. its all about domination, but should I do something or should I left them find their balance?
Sorry D, that I missed this post you made. Don't know how that happened. Well you and I have discussed this pretty good about your special situation. Hope you have made the changes, and are working all babies. Let me know how it's going. For those here interested Yes this is a case of pack order domination which if left unchecked will lead to a very bad situation. Two puppies need to have firm set rules on appropiate play and not be allowed to be left together unchecked. Both breeds here have very dominate backrounds, They need more people socialization and fair and consistant training and love and praise. Not heavy handed but just what is needed for your pup to respond to your requests. This can take a ton of repeating, calmly other wise the dog has won. and will quickly learn what to do to push your buttons to get there way. Good Luck and happy training. Peace Lee
"Hello Kim welcome and thanks for posting. Sorry to hear you having trouble with your puppy. First off have you taken her to the vet? Do they know of the situation? Have they taken a urine sample? If your girl has a UTI…"
Our 12 week old Boerboel wants to drink water - she has had a urinary infection that we have been treating.. but this is crazy... she searches for mud puddles, rain, condensation... drinks until she is miserable and burping then lays around and pees... potty training is near impossible as she is more interested in water than life... ANY IDEAS? See More
