Signing up for an Appraisal

• Please make sure you take care of signing up for membership in advance as you will not be allowed at the venue unless you are a member already.  Please follow the instructions on the SABT Membership application form to sign up for membership.
• Dogs to be appraised should also be signed up.  Please click on the SABT Boerboel appraisal signup form.

The pre-registration fee for an appraisal is $100 per dog.  Any Boerboels registered after the pre-registration date will be charged $125 per dog.

When you attend an appraisal venue, you must present a birth certificate and/or the original registration certificate for the dog being appraised.  The birth or registration certificate must list the member as the owner.  If your documentation does not show you as the owner, please contact [e-mail] for further instructions.

Together with providing a birth or registration certificate to the event host, the owner also needs to turn in his or her SABT account statement.

Just curious anyone this year plan on getting their boerbel appraised?  I plan to if all goes well even though hes still young.  Will be doing it more for the experience, and hope to meet up with others again.  Let us know and if so what organization will be doing it?

The SABT/SABBA 2011 Fall Appraisal Tour has been scheduled.  Below are the scheduled dates and locations for the venues.

Appraisal Venues

McDonough, GA – September 22
Flint, MI – September 23
Winchester, VA – September 24
Capitol Heights, MD – September 25
Barrie, Ontario – September 25
Columbus, OH (Westerville) – September 27
Collinsville, IL – September 29
Redmond, WA – October 1
Live Oak, FL – October 5

 

Breeder Course

Redmond, WA – October 2 & 3

 

In order to have your dog(s) appraised, you must join the SABT/SABBA.  The appraisal fee is $125 per dog until August 1, after this date, the fee will increase to $150 per dog.  At the venue check in, present your dog(s) SABT/SABBA birth certificate/registration.  If you present a Boerboel with Boerboel International or EBBASA birth certificate/registration, we will accept these.  The location/address, date and time for each venue will be forthcoming on the website www.sabt-usa.org

 

The fee for the Breeder Course is $125 per person.  You’ll need to have a copy of the book, The Boerboel, South Africa’s Own.  Should you not have a copy of this book, please order as soon as possible via the website www.sabt-usa.org   Please don’t wait until the last minute to sign up for the course as I put notebooks together for each paid attendee. If you wait, you may not get your notebook.

 

Keep in mind that we will need the correct number of dogs for each venue.  If not, any one of the venues could be cancelled.
