the things you are saying are contovercial at best.... stop saying im mis informed... ve done the reading and the research... you are a vet or sumsuck backing your business in some way... stop it !!! get real !!!
how are the numbers not controled if the placement not corect ??? dur dur dur the same thing you people say about the ofa... oops you have been traped... sorry had to do it... you are so into a narrow minded version of your right minded aspect of things instead of the truth...

Bobby thank you for your advice to check the guide lines for PennHIP, I cannot find any reference to putting a vice on the dog´s hips. Perhaps you could oblige me by pointing out where this is written? If I am wrong by mere "fact", then it should be easy for you to show that "fact", please do so.

I have looked at a couple of the links you sent, they seem to support the case for using PennHIP. Perhaps you can make it clear for me where they support your point of view.

Here is a link to PennHIP facts, this articles are based on actual research, not on points of view. As you can see up to 80% of the DJD caught with PennHIP got through the OFA test with good marks.

In my opinion this is where you will find the difference between breeders that want to do something about the problem and those that only want to show that they do something about the problem. (With the exception of those places where PennHIP is not available). With an reported 80% failure for OFA testing to find the problem, you might as well drop testing altogether because the results are so unreliable, they cannot be used for anything at all except earning money for the vet and conning buyers into thinking that a serious effort is being made.

well all I know is im doing both untill I see a problem with one or the other... in my poinion it is like a bunch of doctors seeing something offered for none profit... omg we can not have that... and to tell you the truth my male has had both the pinn hip and the ofa and they were both about the same with the pinn hip showing a bit better as he was still a young guy at the time of this test... he still has no sign of hipp displasia and both boerboels are in great shape... this is what counts and this is the goal of having the test done... the goal of making sure the dog is healthy...
How many dogs have you had pennhip tested Bobby?

"Hello Kim welcome and thanks for posting.  Sorry to hear you having trouble with your puppy.  First off have you taken her to the vet?  Do they know of the situation?  Have they taken a urine sample?  If your girl has a UTI…"

obsessive Water drinking

Our 12 week old Boerboel wants to drink water - she has had a urinary infection that we have been treating.. but this is crazy... she searches for mud puddles, rain, condensation... drinks until she is miserable and burping then lays around and pees... potty training is near impossible as she is more interested in water than life... ANY IDEAS? See More
