Home Of The Rare Breed.
We had a couple of friends become Boerboel owners and we fell in love! We have done all our homework and know we would love to have a reverse brindle boerboel pup to add to our family. If anyone has any information on who may have one that is ready to go a great home, please let us know!
Thank you!!

Hi,
This might sound like a stupid question, but what exactly is a reverse brindle? We have 4 brindles on our property but I have never heard of the term reverse brindle.
When a fawn and a brindle breed together there are chances that a much lighter brindle is born and I have been told it is called a reverse brindle. We have found a few but but not been able to get one for ourselves in time yet.
I suspected that might be, but never heard the terminology before. Our one brindle female is pregnant. If there is one, I will let you know.
That would be so great! Thank you!!!
She is due in that week of the 19th of December. Will let you know as soon as pups are born.
Thank you so much, how exciting!! I pray all the pups and mom are well and maybe we will have a xmas surprise ;)
Where are you located?
reversed brindle is a terminology used in the Presa Canario and a few other Mollosser breeds. A reverse brindle means simply the dog is basically fawn with "some" black striping, opposed to beeing a black, red, grey or regular brindle that has even amount of striping.
We are in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. Fortunately or unfortunately. Our website is www.bunduvalleyboerboels.co.za .

Thanks Rosita. One is never too old to learn something.
Thanks Rosita for clarifying, one of our friends has the Presa Canario and she is reverse brindle so that is where we did get it from!
@ Tokkie Ysel looking forward to hearing from you soon and we will check out your site today!!
We sent you an email. Beautiful Boerboels!
Its always nice bing able to get the exact color of dog you want, and hope for the complete package by doing so. Unfortunately most of the time it does not work this way, and color should be the last thing to look at especially when choosing a boerboel. I ultimately would love to have a red one some day, but has been the last thing on my list when choosing. I would just hate for you to purchace a boerboel based on color then that dog be all wrong for you. This is something that happens to a lot of people all the time. I would also think that many here would agree from experience on the matter. When choosing a dog first thing is to make sure the breed your choosing is right for your lifesyle. I would guess you have already done that being your here :) Next thing to look at is health, and temperament. Get as much info on ther parents of the pup, and beyond as you can. Boerboels also tend to be more of a dominant breed, within the litter though you will have pups that are mor dominant than others, and some that may be very submissive. This is something also to look at when choosing. Know what you are getting into when owning a dominant dog! Its tough when choosing a pup from a breeder you are not able to visit, and make your choice. If this is this case for you, you really have to trust, and work with your breeder for the right pup. I wish you all the best, and I hope you find the right dog for you. Please keep us updated.
A few links listed below I found when searching google to give you an idea on what to look for. They do not represent any exact way I would do or ways that should be done. However will give you some thoughts when choosing.
