From what I know garlic helps agains mosquitos.. Smashed in a blender with a bit oil.. u give like 1-2 spoons of it in it's food.. That's all i know..

Garlic has been known to help with all sorts of things in pets, and humans.  I am linking a couple articles because some may post against it for lack of knowledge.  Keep in mind lots of things are great for your dog in low doses but this can change if given in large amounts.  A few benefits pf garlic are

As long as it is used in moderation, the health benefits far outweigh any remote health risks. Most animal nutritionists recommend the use of fresh, raw, minced garlic for all dogs and cats. You would need to feed many pounds of garlic every day for a long time before you would create a health hazard for your pet.
