Home Of The Rare Breed.
I have owned Boerboel's for the last ten years. Just lost both at once(one to old age, one to Lymphoma)(By the way, does anyone out there know if this is a breed issue, she was only 6)...
We are heartbroken(I have a 14 and 16 year old)... We LOVED those dogs. Looking for a puppy. Found one that is available through Copperhead Boerboels. Does anyone have any insight/experience with the breeder. Temperament is key for us... also don't want a total couch potato...
Any info would be great... Thanks Nancy if you want to email me offline.. career8080@cox.net

Hi Nancy, If your in Cali. I would recommend Fuller Boerboels. They are outstanding in my humble opinion. And most of all stand behind and truly care for every dog they produce. Look them up. I don't say this lightly, They have earned my respect and are great people. Good luck and sorry for your loss.
So sorry. I know how you feel. I lost 2 dogs within a year and 2 months of each other. One was from old age like yours and the other, my BB, was from AIHA. We were and still are heartbroken over her loss. I don't know much about Lymphoma in this breed. I agree with Lee. Fuller is a great breeder. Also, if you want a drivey farm dog David Harris in Kansas is a good one too. I got my boy from him and he is awesome! Good luck!
