Yes the drool a lot. We have two, a male 3 and a female 4. The male drools much more because he is 200 lbs and his jowls are much bigger.

Welcome Sibyl, Yes some drool quite a bit it depends on the line you choose, have to look at the parents and the size of their jowls, more lip more Drool. lol Good luck and Welcome.

Hello, 

I'm a owner of a boerboel(togheter with my family). Our boerboel (female) is almost one year old now. She has a really great caracter and is always friendly towards other people and dogs (even the dogs that bark at her or show her their teeth). I hope that she will stay this way. Sometimes she gets a litle bit too enthousiastic and that's a point we have to correct, because i don't want anyone to get hurt. 

We love this site, because we are fascinated by the breed. It's nice to see how diverse boerboels are and that there are so many lovers of the breed all over the world.
