Hygroma

Mabel's hygroma (giant callus) on her ankle started bleeding. Looks ulcerated and oozing reddish and clear fluid. Making vet appointment but was wondering if anyone had experience with this and if so, what treatment did you use. She always has soft bedding or a couch to lay on but often she chooses the hard floor for coolness.

My boerboels have them as well. I spent a good amount of money on different dog beds to help prevent them. However they prefer the floor over anything else. Our concrete porch out back also has a lot to do with it. I'm sure it bothers me more seeing them than it does them. I read somewhere in a forum that one of my favorite vets Dr Karen Becker recommends Manuka Honey. I have also read great results from people using it on dogs, and person.
